This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee supplier relationships and contracts related to hotel guest-room amenities and personal-care items.
• Assist in customer programs and the overall strategy for the Rooms Amenities category.
• Strategically plan and implement sourcing initiatives to achieve successful contracts, customer value, and savings.
• Drive supplier negotiations and develop pricing strategies for supplier contracts.
• Gather, structure, and evaluate purchasing data to uncover opportunities and assess the success of contracts and programs.
• Supervise annual plans, timelines, milestones, and the status of initiatives.
• Ensure suppliers meet their contractual obligations while fostering program growth.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders on contract execution and new product launches.
• Manage assigned contracts and supplier portfolios.
• Lead presentations for both internal and external teams as well as suppliers.
• Engage with customers and senior leadership on high-profile projects as a reliable consultant.
• Achieve product savings, category expansion, and increased enterprise value.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in supply chain, project management, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Excel, including analysis of large data sets, PivotTables, and cost comparison models.
• At least 3 years of experience in negotiating and managing vendor supply contracts.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience simultaneously managing 3 or more sourcing projects, including RFPs.
• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, contracting, supply chain optimization, category management, business management, or management consulting.
• Willingness to travel 10%–15% of the time.
• Strong capabilities in data analysis with experience turning insights into actionable strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of technical sourcing processes and contracting.
• Exceptional negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Capability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, along with presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to contribute independently to team objectives.
• Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
• Prior experience in hotel amenities, personal-care products, hospitality procurement, consumer products, or a related sourcing category is preferred.
• Salary range of $88,500-$110,000.
