Manager, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement extensive sourcing strategies throughout the AMER region

• Carry out vendor selection and evaluation procedures

• Utilize JLL's purchasing power to secure savings and enhance operational efficiency

• Collaborate with account teams and represent the region in interdisciplinary projects

• Establish and sustain strategic relationships with suppliers

• Track supplier performance in accordance with contractual and ESG standards

• Initiate supplier enhancement programs

• Conduct briefings for stakeholders and present to clients

• Report on sourcing activities, performance indicators, savings achievements, and strategic goals

• Negotiate contract conditions, pricing structures, and service level agreements

• Ensure compliance with JLL and client standards to mitigate risks

• Act as the primary liaison for account and client teams

• Utilize procurement software such as Jaggaer and Aravo along with digital collaboration tools

• Perform supplier analysis and oversee expenditure and savings

• Ensure precise reporting and optimize sourcing processes and supplier onboarding

• Maintain compliance with sourcing, procurement, ESG, health and safety, and responsible procurement regulations

• Directly supervise and mentor two sourcing managers

• Provide direction, manage performance, and support professional growth

• Identify and introduce process improvements, innovations, and best practices in sourcing

• Superior oral and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or over 5 years of related experience

• Supervisory experience is preferred

• Experience in project management and business transitions is desirable

• Proficient computer skills

• Skilled in MS Office applications

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
