This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the configuration and continuous management of the provider contract management system, which includes reference data, approval workflows, user roles, permissions, and standard contract templates.
β’ Collaborate with contracting leaders, governance groups, Legal, Regulatory and State Government Affairs, and technology teams to ensure system capabilities align with business, policy, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Manage release readiness, testing, implementation, and the adoption of system enhancements.
β’ Generate reports and insights regarding workload, contract complexity, compliance, financial performance, language trends, and areas for improvement.
β’ Develop and refine administrative guidelines, contracting processes, exception pathways, and approval structures.
β’ Design, deliver, and assess training programs, whether virtual or in-person; maintain training materials and records.
β’ Offer consultative support and subject matter expertise to field contracting teams and cross-functional partners.
β’ Mentor frontline personnel, address complex issues, and provide occasional backup support through phone and shared email channels.
β’ Cultivate relationships across Network Operations, Service Operations, Medical Management, Medical Economics, Legal, vendors, and regional contracting teams.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in managed healthcare, including at least 2 years in contract negotiation and 2 years in contract management.
β’ Experience in managing or supporting business systems, workflows, testing, releases, or process enhancements.
β’ Capability to influence decisions, obtain support, and collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization.
β’ Excellent communication, presentation, training, relationship management, negotiation, organization, and analytical skills.
β’ Proficient in transforming complex information into clear recommendations and adept at problem-solving in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF tools, and presentation applications.
β’ Willingness to occasionally work across time zones.
β’ Ability to travel occasionally when required.
β’ Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with provider contracting, negotiation, provider services, project management, or system development is preferred.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred; an MBA, MHA, or another relevant advanced degree is also preferred.
β’ For remote work, internet service must be through cable broadband or fiber optic with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
