This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of the division, including Contracts, Procurement/Sourcing, Certifications, and Risk & Compliance.
• Manage the shared intake/ticketing system, handling triage, assignments, and service commitments.
• Coordinate and manage 1099 contractors, establishing priorities, standards, and timelines.
• Act as the primary contact and escalation point for various requests.
• Keep clients and leadership updated on relevant matters.
• Lead engagements from initial discovery through to execution and closure.
• Ensure all company and client certifications and accreditations are current.
• Guarantee compliance with government contract obligations.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures effectively.
• Facilitate a governance-and-risk cadence across the teams.
• Recognize issues that require Legal support and engage them with the necessary context.
• Elevate significant matters to the President.
• Provide reports on queue health, turnaround times, and risk to the President.
• Uphold an impartial governance-and-risk review that operates independently from daily delivery.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance, contracts, procurement, or a similar operational role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Direct experience with government contracting, particularly in federal and ideally SLED procurement and compliance.
• Proven track record in people management, holding accountability for team output and deadlines.
• Familiarity with certifications and accreditations relevant to government contracting.
• Experience drafting and managing MSA, SOW, teaming agreements, and NDAs.
• Background in procurement/sourcing activities.
• Understanding of governance, risk, and audit processes.
• Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and sound judgment.
• Comfortable managing an intake queue and adhering to published service commitments.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish credibility with clients and serve as an escalation point.
• Good judgment regarding when to escalate issues to Legal or leadership.
• Preferred: experience managing a shared-services or ticketed intake model.
• Preferred: relevant credentials such as CFCM/CPCM, CO/COR, or a compliance certification.
