This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the creation and implementation of intricate sourcing strategies for high-impact categories.
• Oversee spending and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance value with strategic suppliers.
• Direct sourcing projects while mentoring team members.
• Advocate for process enhancements and sustainability initiatives with suppliers.
• Perform daily sourcing tasks, including contract negotiations, market research, and supplier relationship management.
• Foster supplier relationships to drive innovation and maximize value while managing enterprise risk.
• Coordinate with business units on supplier strategies and formulate plans to add value.
• Facilitate the Negotiation Planning Process and keep track of negotiation status, risks, obstacles, and escalations.
• Spearhead contract negotiations with Legal, Business Leadership, Strategic Sourcing, FP&A, Workforce Management, Procure to Pay, and Strategic Operations.
• Collaborate with Finance to enhance, consolidate, and refine sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Formulate and execute standard supplier agreements, amendments, best practices in supplier management, and professional-services sourcing methods.
• Manage complex and commodity sourcing requests and activities, including RFx processes, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management for contracts exceeding $15M annually.
• Identify opportunities for savings and supplier optimization while factoring in risk, supplier mix, and innovation.
• Engage in Supplier Business Reviews, scorecarding, supplier qualification, and onboarding processes.
• Serve as a strategic sourcing resource to business stakeholders.
• Report on long-term goals and objectives using baselines and metrics in monthly and quarterly procurement deal roadmap reviews.
• Build relationships across all organizational levels to discover strategic third-party solutions.
• Present findings, strategies, solutions, metrics, and progress updates to executive leadership.
• Utilize data analysis and stakeholder feedback to assess impacts on suppliers, customers, and Zillow Group.
• Deliver data-driven communications and recommendations.
• Educate stakeholders and suppliers on compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Over 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a comparable strategic sourcing/procurement role.
• Strong grasp of technology, marketing, outsourcing services, complex consulting/advisory services, and associated agreements.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven record of high performance.
• Proficient in sourcing and contract management software solutions.
• Capacity to adapt to shifting priorities and manage ad-hoc sourcing tasks.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership, root causes, and systemic problems/opportunities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines.
• Extensive background in developing and executing sophisticated source selection processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and auctions.
• Aptitude to influence partners through effective communication and presentations.
• Strong organizational, customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences and leadership levels.
• Strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Preferred experience in leading indirect sourcing strategies for People/HR organizations.
• Preferred familiarity with enterprise-scale People/HR technology solutions, such as HCM, ATS, LMS, payroll, benefits administration, and performance management.
• Preferred experience advising senior People/HR and People Technology leadership.
• Preferred experience collaborating with executive-level People and Technology stakeholders.
• Preferred experience driving complex, cross-functional People/HR sourcing initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CSP, CPSM, CPM, ITIL, APICS, and PMI certifications.
• Familiarity with procurement tools such as ZIP and Workday Strategic Management.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau, Excel, and AI, with advanced data analytics and reporting experience preferred.
