Strategic Solutions & Proposal Manager – Food & Facilities Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create innovative solutions for food, facilities, environmental, and support services that meet client requirements and align with business goals.

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to formulate competitive and actionable solutions.

• Develop operational models, staffing strategies, service concepts, and capital proposals that consider quality, feasibility, and financial performance.

• Engage in discovery sessions, solution assessments, client presentations, and strategic planning for pursuits.

• Oversee the development of solutions while fostering team collaboration, knowledge exchange, and project management.

• Implement process enhancements utilizing standardized tools, best practices, and quality benchmarks.

• Create solutions for new business opportunities, contract renewals, and complex strategic initiatives.

• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically robust, financially sound, and compliant with enterprise standards.

• Mentor members of the solution development team.

• Promote continuous improvement efforts that enhance the quality, consistency, and speed of solutions to market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing operational solutions within food service, facilities management, environmental services, or similar outsourced services.

• Capability to convert client needs into scalable, financially viable, and operationally feasible solutions.

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management abilities in a cross-functional, matrixed setting.

• Strong financial insight with experience in assessing solution feasibility, cost factors, and pricing strategies.

• Familiarity with CRM, proposal, estimating, or solution design tools, such as Salesforce or comparable platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Background in supporting complex, multi-site commercial initiatives and solution development.

• Proficiency in French is considered a significant advantage.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% within Canada and internationally.

• Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
