This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Propel revenue expansion throughout Australia and New Zealand by acquiring new business, expanding accounts, retaining customers, and enhancing the uptake of Harvard Business Impact offerings.
• Drive growth by fortifying existing institutional relationships and uncovering new opportunities.
• Formulate and implement market and account strategies within the higher education sector.
• Cultivate and sustain a robust pipeline of prospects.
• Lead consultative sales discussions that showcase teaching materials, simulations, digital learning, and faculty development solutions.
• Recognize customer needs, shape strategic opportunities, and translate them into commercial successes.
• Oversee intricate sales processes from opportunity identification to negotiation and closure.
• Establish trusted relationships with faculty, academic leaders, and institutional decision-makers.
• Serve as a strategic advisor, aligning solutions with institutional goals, teaching aims, and learning outcomes.
• Enhance engagement within key accounts.
• Represent Harvard Business Impact through customer interactions, campus visits, and industry events.
• Collaborate with both regional and global colleagues to enhance customer experience and expedite growth.
• Provide market insights, customer intelligence, and commercial recommendations to inform regional strategy.
• Over 8 years of experience in consultative sales, strategic account management, or business development, with a proven track record in driving customer growth.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex buying cycles and nurturing long-term client relationships.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial setting.
• Experience with CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, and data-informed planning methods.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Australia and New Zealand.
• Preferred: experience in higher education, academic publishing, educational technology, executive education, professional learning, or related fields.
• Preferred: knowledge of the higher education landscape in Australia and New Zealand.
• Preferred: established relationships with universities, business schools, academic leaders, or educational decision-makers.
