Strategic Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee large-scale transformational initiatives for clients, collaborating with various technical and global teams.

• Establish and execute program governance and controls, encompassing status reporting, risk and issue management, and stakeholder engagement.

• Track program milestones, risks, issues, decisions, customer satisfaction, quality, and profitability.

• Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.

• Staff and allocate resources for the program, including leadership and technical leads.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, program financials, procurement reporting, and budget transparency.

• Define roles and responsibilities that align with staffing plans.

• Deliver the program from start to finish while ensuring quality.

• Generate executive reports and present findings to executive stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with statements of work and manage changes in scope.

• Mentor and coach project managers and other team members.

• Establish and oversee long-term goals for programs or portfolios.

• Ensure the effective onboarding and offboarding of program resources.

• Serve as the liaison between program staff and upper management/executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a relevant field is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a related field is required.

• At least 5 years of active Program Management experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience is required.

• Experience in working with financial clients is essential.

• Proven experience in managing, tracking, and forecasting financials and budgets for large-scale programs.

• Familiarity with service delivery models focused on continuous improvement.

• Comprehensive understanding of the contract process.

• Capability to manage contract modifications and negotiate contract scope, cost, and schedule.

• Good knowledge of supply chain processes.

• Ability to work independently while tracking program timelines.

• Strong teamwork skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software is required.

• Experience in developing and estimating client statements of work.

• Experience in managing technology programs with budgets of $25MM or more.

• Experience managing distributed matrixed teams of at least 50 individuals.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through PMI is preferred.

• One to three years of prior sales/business development experience is preferred.

• Experience in multi-site/global environments is a plus.
