Jr Program Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in program planning, which includes preparation for Planning Interval (PI) Planning, scheduling, and updates to the roadmap.

• Manage integrated schedules and monitor deliverables in relation to call order due dates.

• Gather program metrics and generate biweekly sprint reports along with status updates in Jira.

• Keep records of risks, issues, and dependencies, and follow up with responsible parties on outstanding items.

• Aid in the analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness, which encompasses data collection and summaries of findings.

• Oversee EHR issue management, monitor patient safety, and manage informatics workforce and training programs.

• Maintain the repository of program artifacts and the corresponding index.

• Organize and coordinate meetings, working sessions, and events; document notes, decisions, and action items.

• Monitor staff onboarding processes, necessary training, and system access.

• Engage in agile ceremonies and ensure the accuracy and currency of Jira data.

• Provide support to the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Office of Clinical Informatics under the Operational Informatics Pipeline contract.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

• Experience in supporting program planning, analysis, or evaluation for healthcare or similar programs.

• Proven track record in tracking schedules, metrics, or risks and in preparing status reports.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining a VA background investigation at the level assigned to the position.

• Must reside and work in the United States and possess U.S. work authorization.

• Familiarity with supporting VA or another federal healthcare program.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint.

• Proficient with scheduling tools, such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.

• Experience in creating dashboards using Power BI or Excel.

• Previous involvement with SAFe or Scrum teams.
