This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in program planning, which includes the preparation for Planning Interval (PI) Planning, scheduling, and updating roadmaps.
• Maintain comprehensive schedules and monitor deliverables against the due dates established by call orders.
• Gather program metrics and compile biweekly sprint reports and status updates using Jira.
• Keep logs for risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring follow-ups with responsible parties on unresolved items.
• Facilitate analyses and evaluations of program effectiveness, which includes data collection and summarizing findings.
• Aid in the preparation of recurring health data exchange reports and contributions to Congressional and Elizabeth Dole Act reporting.
• Manage the program artifact repository and maintain an index of artifacts.
• Organize and coordinate meetings, working sessions, and events; document notes, decisions, and action items.
• Monitor staff onboarding processes, mandatory training, and system access requirements.
• Engage in agile ceremonies and ensure that Jira data remains accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide support to the VA VHA Office of Clinical Informatics for the Operational Informatics Pipeline contract, collaborating with interoperability specialists, terminologists, and VA Business Owners.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 3 years of professional experience is necessary.
• Proven experience in supporting program planning, analysis, or evaluation, particularly in health care or similar programs.
• Experience in tracking schedules, metrics, or risks and preparing status reports is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a VA background investigation at the level assigned to the position.
• Candidates must reside and work in the United States and possess U.S. work authorization.
• Preferred: A degree in public health, health care administration, business, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting the VA or another federal health care program.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint.
• Preferred: Experience using scheduling tools, such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
• Preferred: Experience in building dashboards using Power BI or Excel.
• Preferred: Background in working on SAFe or Scrum teams.
