This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee and manage a variety of small to medium-scale projects or a select number of intricate programs.
• Ensure compliance with program scope, budgets, timelines, and business goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams for bid and proposal submissions.
• Supervise the pursuit through order capture for both new and existing business opportunities.
• Create commercial models and scenario planning to establish pricing strategies.
• Direct customer contract negotiations and manage key terms and conditions.
• Take part in P&L forecasting, annual and long-term financial planning, and program review meetings.
• Provide financial forecasts and ensure fulfillment of business-case commitments, financial plans, forecasts, and value-stream objectives.
• Monitor the implementation of program strategies and contribute to long-term planning and continuous improvement.
• Act as the main customer liaison, ensuring that program requirements are clearly defined and satisfied.
• Maintain and refresh program plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Foster accountability among internal teams and vendors.
• Manage and report program Profit & Loss to meet profitability targets.
• Identify and alleviate program risks while implementing solutions for resource, scope, and customer feedback challenges.
• Serve as the main business contact for contract negotiations, changes, proposals, business plans, and compliance efforts.
• Lead, mentor, and support professionals, potentially taking on a people leadership role, including work scope, performance, and development management.
• Assist in new business development and value-stream strategies to promote program growth.
• Represent the Collins Aerospace Airports business to customers.
• Oversee assigned programs from initiation through to completion.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business administration, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant background; alternatively, an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in project or program management specifically related to airlines/airports programs.
• Familiarity with change and risk management principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, MS Project, and/or Smartsheet.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for company immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, occasionally on short notice.
• PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• More than 5 years of program management experience with demonstrated P&L acumen is preferred.
• Previous experience in proposal development, contract negotiation, and/or commercial management is preferred.
• Prior indirect or matrixed leadership experience is preferred.
• MBA or relevant master’s degree is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Security clearance is not required.
