Strategic Portfolio Manager, People Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead and nurture a team of project and program management experts, offering coaching, performance oversight, and career development guidance.

• Manage a portfolio of intricate, cross-functional programs and projects that drive strategic business objectives and enterprise transformation.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish program strategy, prioritize initiatives, and provide actionable insights.

• Spearhead large-scale technology implementation projects, including AI-driven solutions, ensuring stakeholder alignment, adoption, and business readiness.

• Develop and improve program governance, reporting, risk management, and best practices in project management.

• Propel business process redesign and operational improvement initiatives.

• Create and present executive-level communications, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex data into actionable business insights.

• Forge partnerships across business, technology, operations, and change management teams to fulfill organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in project, program, portfolio, business transformation, or related fields.

• More than 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing direct reports.

• Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation abilities.

• Proven track record in managing complex projects from initiation through to implementation.

• Willingness and capability to travel as necessary for team offsites, leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and other business-related activities.

• Background investigation required.

• Typically does not offer sponsorship for employment-based visas for this role.

• Proper desk and seating arrangements are necessary.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is essential.
