Strategic Insights Analyst

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain business intelligence solutions, dashboards, and analytical applications.

• Examine sales, operational, financial, inventory, and customer data to uncover trends, opportunities, risks, and initiatives for performance enhancement.

• Convert business needs into actionable metrics, visual representations, data models, and reporting solutions.

• Design and uphold SQL queries, data models, and processes for data validation.

• Resolve issues related to reporting, data quality, and systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect reporting requirements, define KPIs, and provide analytical recommendations.

• Deliver findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Discover opportunities to enhance business processes via analytics, automation, AI, and cutting-edge technologies.

• Investigate, develop, and apply new analytical tools, methodologies, and reporting capabilities.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams on the planning, development, testing, deployment, and support of analytics initiatives.

• Keep documentation updated, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and promote the adoption of analytics solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data analysis, or a related field.

• Proven experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

• Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.

• Strong skills in SQL and data analysis.

• Familiarity with relational databases, data modeling concepts, and enterprise data sources.

• Excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to convey complex information in a clear and effective manner.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

• Dedication to data accuracy, quality, and ongoing improvement.

• Preferred: Experience with Snowflake, Python, Power Automate, AI tools, Microsoft Copilot, or other advanced analytics technologies.

• Preferred: Experience supporting sales, operations, supply chain, inventory, purchasing, customer, or financial analytics functions.

• Preferred: Experience in developing enterprise-scale Power BI solutions and reporting applications.

• Preferred: Knowledge of data governance, KPI development, and business process improvement methodologies.

• Preferred: Experience in distribution, utility, industrial, manufacturing, or wholesale business environments.
