Lead Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the functional expert for IWMS domains, encompassing space, portfolio, lease administration, maintenance, asset lifecycle, and sustainability.

• Facilitate discovery and solution-visioning sessions with client stakeholders.

• Establish future-state processes and functional solution strategies.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis in relation to TRIRIGA and Maximo's standard capabilities.

• Make and document functional design choices utilizing configuration-first, upgrade-safe methodologies.

• Address complex and cross-domain functional inquiries escalated by business analysts.

• Guide business analysts by defining scope and effort estimates, delegating tasks, and prioritizing activities.

• Review and endorse requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional designs.

• Ensure traceability of requirements and readiness for UAT.

• Sanction UAT entrance and exit criteria along with defect severity definitions in collaboration with QA and the client.

• Establish and uphold functional standards, templates, and quality expectations.

• Provide guidance to client domain leaders regarding platform capabilities, limitations, best practices, scope, design, and roadmap decisions.

• Foster consensus among stakeholders with conflicting priorities.

• Identify functional risks and scope alterations, escalating them with proposed solutions.

• Present functional recommendations and project status updates to client and JLL project leadership.

• Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads on integrations between TRIRIGA, Maximo, and enterprise systems.

• Take ownership of the functional integration and data migration strategy, including data ownership, mapping, and validation processes.

• Validate functional readiness for go-live and offer guidance throughout the cutover and hypercare phases.

• Mentor and coach business analysts.

• Create reusable domain frameworks, templates, and best practices.

• Conduct training and knowledge-transfer sessions, especially for teams transitioning from TRIRIGA to MAS and MREF.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in business analysis or business systems analysis, including leading BA efforts on enterprise system implementations.

• More than 8 years of practical experience with IBM TRIRIGA or Maximo, along with a working knowledge of the other platform.

• Experience serving as the functional lead on several full-lifecycle implementations, from discovery to go-live and hypercare.

• Proven experience directing the work of other business analysts, including reviewing and approving their outputs.

• Extensive expertise in corporate real estate and facilities management sectors, covering space management, portfolio management, lease administration, maintenance operations, asset lifecycle management, and environmental sustainability.

• Mastery of requirements, process design, and UAT methodologies.

• Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, web services, data exchange) and SQL for data analysis and validation.

• Experience with Agile delivery and work management tools, such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

• Strong and confident communication skills with client stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience collaborating with globally distributed delivery teams.
