Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate terms of reference, tender documents, and contracts to discern requirements, risks, and alignment of solutions, utilizing AI tools for reading, comparing, and summarizing documents.

• Facilitate discovery sessions with clients and subject-matter experts, map out business rules, and confirm understanding prior to specification.

• Discover opportunities for AI integration within the product and processes, recommending automation and intelligent features.

• Employ SQL for data analysis and validation, aiding in diagnostics and product decision-making.

• Draft and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), outlining the problem, objectives, business rules, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.

• Oversee the backlog by refining, prioritizing, and crafting clear user stories for development.

• Engage in daily stand-ups, weekly meetings, refinement sessions, planning, and product reviews as the business reference for Engineering and UX teams.

• Introduce projects to the team at the start of each initiative, ensuring alignment on context and objectives.

• Validate deliverables with the technical team and clients while keeping documentation current.

• Communicate product updates through demonstrations, release notes, and notifications for clients and internal teams.

• Act as the primary client contact for business-related inquiries and assist with complex system usage and reporting scenarios.

• Lead training sessions, implementations, and assisted operations, both onsite and remotely.

• Exhibit a digital mindset, demonstrate curiosity about new technologies, and show interest in applying Artificial Intelligence to processes, experiences, and outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Public Management, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst focused on digital products, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.

• Proficient in discovery processes, functional specifications, and writing PRDs or user stories.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and team ceremonies.

• Strong capability to read and interpret complex documents, including contracts, regulations, and tender documents.

• Intermediate SQL proficiency for crafting queries and validating data.

• Practical application of AI tools in daily operations.

• Excellent communication skills for client interactions, delivering presentations, and conducting training sessions.

• Openness to occasional travel for onsite implementations and training.

• Background in the public sector or GovTech, including knowledge of procurement processes, Brazilian Law 14.133, accountability reporting, document management, or electronic processes.

• Experience in credit operations and reporting to national banks and international development organizations.

• Familiarity with specifying or launching AI-powered features, such as LLMs, automations, or agents.

• Experience in software implementation and assisted operations.

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and product analytics tools.
