
Strategic Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
β’ Lead intricate financial modeling for strategic partnerships, ecosystem incentives, product launches, mergers and acquisitions, investments, and long-term growth strategies.
β’ Manage product-specific revenue models that encompass transaction revenue, subscription and service revenue, platform monetization, unit economics, customer economics, and scenario-based forecasting.
β’ Assess monetization strategies, partnership frameworks, pricing, margin trade-offs, and capital allocation decisions in collaboration with cross-functional leaders.
β’ Construct investment-grade models featuring revenue projections, sensitivity analyses, valuation methodologies, synergy scenarios, downside analyses, cohort economics, and ROI/payback evaluations.
β’ Convert complex analyses into executive narratives for reviews with CFOs/CCOs, operating assessments, Board presentations, strategic planning, and decision-making forums.
β’ Counsel senior leadership on key drivers, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations associated with strategic initiatives.
β’ Establish frameworks for build/buy/partner evaluations, incorporating market sizing, strategic justification, integration considerations, investment needs, and expected returns.
β’ Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Data teams to address operational, accounting, regulatory, and data-integrity issues.
β’ Leverage AI and automation to enhance analysis, model quality assurance, data synthesis, scenario creation, workflow automation, and deliverables for executives.
β’ Develop repeatable planning and reporting infrastructures for new revenue streams.
β’ Identify deficiencies in reporting, model structures, and decision-making workflows, and create practical solutions.
β’ Report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Finance and collaborate with Finance, Product, Business Development, Corporate Development, Legal, Accounting, Data, and executive leadership.
β’ 5β7 years of relevant experience, preferably including 2β4 years in investment banking and/or private equity, along with 2+ years in strategic finance, corporate development, or FP&A within a dynamic, high-growth company.
β’ Superior financial modeling capabilities across revenue, margins, unit economics, valuation, M&A, partnerships, and scenario analysis.
β’ Strong commercial acumen and strategic insight.
β’ Exceptional executive communication abilities.
β’ Capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders and foster alignment.
β’ Experience in supporting strategic partnerships, product monetization, M&A, corporate development, new business incubation, or critical growth initiatives.
β’ High level of ownership and comfort with uncertainty.
β’ Proficiency in AI and practical experience using AI tools for financial analysis, research, automation, data interpretation, and communication.
β’ Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets modeling.
β’ Strong capabilities in Google Slides / PowerPoint presentations.
β’ Bachelor's degree required; a degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering, or a related analytical field is preferred.
β’ Strong understanding of SaaS, fintech, payments, marketplaces, crypto, or platform-based business models preferred.
β’ Familiarity with stablecoins, digital assets, or financial infrastructure preferred.
β’ Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, or other financial and data systems preferred.
