Strategic Finance Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive strategic finance tasks derived from mock files.

• Develop business cases and investment appraisals utilizing NPV, IRR, and payback methods.

• Generate capital allocation evaluations, ranking investments against hurdle rates alongside portfolio reviews.

• Create scenario and sensitivity analyses pertaining to the corporate plan, focusing on demand, pricing, and costs.

• Assess pricing and discount economics for price setting and deal desk approvals, considering margin impact.

• Conduct market sizing and competitive landscape evaluations.

• Analyze cohort and unit economics.

• Develop cost baselines and savings assessments for cost reduction initiatives.

• Complete deliverables for assessments, including a business case, pricing and margin recommendations, and capital allocation rankings.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or corporate planning within an operating company.

• Responsibility for a capital or pricing decision that was presented at a leadership forum.

• Experience as an independent contractor.

• Fund-side strategy roles are not applicable.

• Currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
