FP&A Analyst – Mexico, South Africa

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Deliver FP&A finance assistance to delivery teams regarding productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics.

• Take ownership of ongoing budgeting and forecasting for designated lines of business.

• Pinpoint and investigate discrepancies in forecasts, budgets, and previous year expenses, actively highlighting areas for improvement.

• Recognize business obstacles and propose solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Analyze financial data and offer additional insights as a subject-matter expert.

• Collaborate with the finance team on metrics, objectives, and business reviews.

• Develop presentations featuring insightful analysis, necessary action items, and decisions required.

• Engage in corporate projects and initiatives that impact the organization, including tool implementation and process design.

• Assess external and market trends, client personas, and potential for account growth.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of four years of experience in a financial analyst or FP&A position.

• Proven track record of managing financial planning tasks: budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Proficient in advanced Excel modeling.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail essential for monthly financial cycles.

• Strong communication skills to articulate financial outcomes to non-finance stakeholders and present to senior leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.

• Eligibility to work in Canada or the United States.

• Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and Workday are a significant advantage for this role.

• Experience in professional services or the recruitment sector.

• Familiarity with private-equity-backed businesses and their reporting schedules.

• Experience with Copilot/Claude or similar tools used in finance reporting and analysis.
