Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily finance operations for the APAC region across all entities under the guidance of the Manager.

• Develop, manage, and support the regional finance team effectively.

• Serve as the key finance liaison for operational and Client Services teams.

• Take responsibility for month-end closing processes across APAC entities within a timeframe of 3–5 working days.

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of management accounts, encompassing revenue recognition, accruals, and cut-off procedures.

• Maintain the integrity of balance sheets and perform reconciliations across various entities.

• Oversee consolidated management reporting while providing commercial insights.

• Prepare monthly decks for EMM and IMM management meetings.

• Lead the 4MF revenue forecasting process and conduct weekly forecast meetings.

• Coordinate the semi-annual budget process and manage monthly variance analysis.

• Conduct profitability analyses, control freelance and project costs, as well as manage Paprika cost rates.

• Ensure tax and statutory compliance in Singapore and Indonesia.

• Coordinate the annual audit process and address audit inquiries.

• Manage ongoing cash flow forecasts, banking relationships, foreign exchange, intercompany settlements, and accounts receivable collections.

• Collaborate with Client Services and operational teams regarding project performance, budgeting, and profitability.

• Enhance financial controls and manage financial models, dashboards, and reporting.

• Drive continuous enhancements in month-end processes, forecasting, and reporting practices.

• Provide monthly performance updates to the Manager and promptly escalate significant finance-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA (Philippines) is required or strongly preferred; ACCA, CIMA, CGMA, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, including financial reporting, control, and forecasting.

• Proven experience in running or leading a finance function or team.

• Previous exposure to a marketing, digital, media, or creative agency setting is preferred.

• Experience with project-based revenue, client billing cycles, and project profitability reporting.

• Demonstrated people-management skills, including managing team members remotely across different locations and time zones.

• Experience overseeing tax and statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions; regional experience is a significant advantage.

• A strong track record in multi-currency and multi-entity environments.

• Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling are essential.

• The confidence and judgment to manage a finance function with minimal day-to-day oversight, knowing when to escalate issues.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders and senior management.

• Familiarity with the Paprika system is advantageous.

• Complete fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
