Strategic Events Manager – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the project manager for large-scale events hosted by the company, taking charge of both planning and hands-on execution.

• Oversee event timelines, budget management, and vendor coordination.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of deliverables and stakeholder engagement.

• Manage logistics related to venues, hotels, audiovisual needs, catering, registration, and enhancing the attendee experience.

• Function as the onsite lead during events.

• Organize and execute small to medium-sized booth sponsorships at industry conferences.

• Handle tradeshow contracting, vendor management, budgeting, and logistical arrangements.

• Collaborate with Sales and internal teams participating in each event.

• Assist in organizing lunch and learns, VIP happy hours and dinners, and networking events.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning across any industry.

• Demonstrated ability to plan complete conferences from start to finish.

• Experience in organizing large-scale, multi-day conferences or customer-facing events.

• Strong expertise in project management and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

• Willingness to travel occasionally (no more than 10%).

• Comfortable with some responsibilities in onsite event management.

• Ability to quickly adapt and self-onboard.

• Residing in the Atlanta area and capable of working from the Alpharetta or Glencastle office one to two times a week (preferred).
