This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop and implement a strategic new-business plan.
• Create a pipeline through targeted account selection, prospecting, and executive outreach.
• Foster relationships with senior leaders in business, functional areas, and technology.
• Discover new use cases, buying centers, and opportunities for growth.
• Conduct consultative discovery and formulate compelling business cases for transformation.
• Design solutions that integrate enterprise SaaS, data, APIs, AI, and business intelligence capabilities.
• Manage the entire sales process from opportunity identification to negotiation and contract signing.
• Cultivate internal advocates and navigate complex purchasing groups.
• Position Nexis strategically against competitors and alternative offerings.
• Collaborate with internal experts to progress and finalize significant opportunities.
• Maintain comprehensive account and opportunity plans, providing accurate forecasts and ensuring accountability for personal new-business objectives.
• Drive new business initiatives across a diverse portfolio of large organizations within the United States.
• Establish executive-level connections and lead intricate sales endeavors.
• Minimum of eight years in complex B2B sales, with several years focused on large enterprises.
• Proven track record of generating pipeline and successfully closing significant new business through self-directed prospecting, relationship-building, and market knowledge.
• Experience in engaging with senior executives and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
• Strong discovery capabilities with the ability to translate business challenges into valuable use cases and commercial prospects.
• Experience in managing lengthy sales cycles through solution development, negotiation, and closure.
• Excellent commercial acumen and sales discipline.
• Capacity to articulate business value while collaborating effectively with product and technology teams.
• Resourceful, self-motivated approach paired with intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to nurture customer relationships and pursue major opportunities.
• Relevant experience in data, information services, business intelligence, analytics, enterprise SaaS, APIs, AI-driven workflow solutions, research, advisory, or commercially focused professional services.
• Experience selling to Financial Services, Professional Services, Media & PR, or similarly complex enterprise environments would be advantageous.
