Strategic Civil Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Preparing and evaluating strategic legal documents, such as petitions, answers, appeals, motions, and briefs, in highly intricate cases with considerable financial implications.

• Performing risk assessments and establishing comprehensive litigation plans for managing critical cases across various court levels.

• Actively engaging in meetings and maintaining direct communication with clients to objectively present scenarios, risks, and legal advice.

• Diligently overseeing procedural and internal administrative deadlines, ensuring adherence to SLAs and the systematic management of multiple cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and current registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Significant, proven experience in strategic civil litigation involving complex and high-stakes matters.

• Preferred: Background in a mid-sized or large law firm.

• Analytical, organized, and proactive demeanor, with the capability to manage various cases and perform under pressure.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.

• Strong legal writing proficiency and attention to detail in the technical evaluation of documents and information.
