Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist the firm’s clients with a variety of legal issues.

• Analyze documents and create pleadings and other legal submissions.

• Facilitate negotiations and devise strategies to optimize case results while minimizing risks.

• Ensure adherence to legal standards and support the achievement of targets and legal certainty.

• Function as a negotiator and expert in conflict resolution.

• Manage various phases of legal proceedings, including reviewing and drafting contracts and representing clients in judicial and administrative proceedings.

• Organize and supervise legal advisory functions.

• Verify that commercial transactions, contract agreements, and privacy practices align with relevant laws and regulations.

• Oversee and track a portfolio of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients.

• Assist in the review and preparation of legal documents and pleadings.

• Generate litigation and contingency reports utilizing the firm’s proprietary system.

• Draft and finalize legal documents of varying complexities.

• Evaluate risks, perform legal assessments, and suggest legal options.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Active membership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate credentials in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are advantageous.

• Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a law firm or a corporate legal division.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

• Strong focus on drafting pleadings and reviewing contracts.

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with legal research, writing, drafting pleadings, case management, negotiation, and professional ethics.
