This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prospect, identify, and qualify new and existing enterprise accounts within law firms, corporations, and government entities in a designated territory.
• Establish and uphold a personal sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, retention efforts, and collaboration with Marketing and Sales Development.
• Oversee intricate, multi-month sales cycles from initial engagement to closing, involving stakeholders from Legal, IT, Privacy, Procurement, and Finance.
• Create and present customized value propositions, presentations, and proposals that address the business and legal challenges faced by clients.
• Negotiate pricing, scope, and contract terms in accordance with approved commercial guidelines.
• Meet or surpass an individual new-logo revenue goal of $5M in annual contract value.
• Keep precise records of activities, pipeline status, and forecasts within Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Client Success and Delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and future account growth.
• Represent KLDiscovery at industry conferences and events, including Legalweek and ILTACON.
• Provide market and competitive insights to Product and leadership teams to inform packaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
• Over 10 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in legal technology and/or services, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual annual quotas of at least $5M.
• Comprehensive understanding of the legal technology, eDiscovery, or litigation-support sectors.
• Proven ability in acquiring new logos and retaining clients, with experience in personally sourcing and closing new enterprise accounts.
• Skilled in managing complex enterprise sales cycles that span 3 to 12+ months and include multiple decision-makers from Procurement, IT, Privacy, and Legal.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft executive-level proposals and presentations.
• Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms and contemporary sales tools.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
• Knowledge of legal workflows such as litigation, regulatory and internal investigations, compliance, and antitrust/second requests.
• Experience in professional services or technology-enabled services sales.
• Familiarity with cyber incident response, information governance, and managed review processes.
• Previous experience in a private-equity-backed or rapidly growing organization.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA, JD, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
