Strategic Advisory Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in delivering large and intricate strategic advisory service projects.

• Collaborate with management-level professionals across diverse industry sectors.

• Proactively evaluate and enhance cybersecurity and incident response initiatives.

• Create scenarios to assist clients in practicing their response strategies.

• Generate and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality written reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings to client management.

• Identify and respond to emerging cybersecurity trends from both government and private-sector viewpoints.

• Provide thought leadership and share experiences with internal teams and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-6 years of experience in IT/Security Management Consulting, Security Program Development, Security Analysis/Operations, Business Strategy/Risk Analysis, Cybersecurity Policy, or Public/Government Affairs.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to build and sustain positive working relationships with clients and team members.

• Proficient in completing complex strategic analysis and development tasks independently.

• Eagerness to enhance cyber skills, technical knowledge, and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong time management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Consistently maintain a positive work environment and attitude.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, often on short notice of less than three weeks.

• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.

• Advanced degrees are not mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, cybersecurity, policy, intelligence, or related field is preferred for candidates with an academic background.

• Candidates without a degree may be considered based on relevant military or work experience and/or training.

• May be required to undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug tests periodically during employment.
