This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
β’ Manage the commercial and executive relationship, account strategy, opportunities for expansion, and financial elements of renewals and expansions for key accounts.
β’ Oversee the complete post-sale lifecycle of key accounts.
β’ Ensure customer retention, minimize churn risk, and guarantee timely contract renewals.
β’ Develop and implement account plans aimed at customer health, value realization, and growth prospects.
β’ Establish and nurture multi-tiered relationships with end users, executive sponsors, contracting officers, senior government officials, and C-level executives.
β’ Ensure customers achieve their desired outcomes and maximize the value derived from the Virtualitics platform.
β’ Conduct executive business reviews, showcase value, evaluate performance metrics, and align on future objectives.
β’ Monitor account health and proactively resolve issues and risks associated with customer churn.
β’ Act as the primary internal advocate for the customer.
β’ Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to enhance the customer experience and inform the product roadmap.
β’ Identify and qualify opportunities for expansion and upselling with Sales Account Executives.
β’ Manage and expand large, complex Federal accounts.
β’ Secret clearance is required, up to TS; or eligibility to obtain and maintain clearance.
β’ 8β10+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Strategic Account Management or Federal Sales, with a focus on post-sales and renewals.
β’ Proven track record of achieving nearly 100% retention and renewal rates with substantial, strategic enterprise or government accounts.
β’ Extensive experience in managing complex Federal/DoD contracts and navigating government procurement and renewal processes.
β’ Capability to facilitate customer discussions regarding renewal paths, funding sources, timelines, and risk management.
β’ Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with senior government leaders and C-level executives.
β’ Strategic mindset complemented by strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to serve as a trusted advisor.
β’ Familiarity with enterprise software, particularly in AI/ML, data analytics, or business intelligence.
β’ Direct experience with AI, logistics, sustainment, and operational readiness solutions within the DoD is preferred.
β’ Established reputation and network within DoD and Intelligence Community program and contracting circles is preferred.
β’ Experience utilizing Customer Success and CRM platforms is preferred.
β’ An active security clearance is preferred.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
