This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Formulate and implement strategic business plans for designated national distribution partners.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with distributor executives, sales leadership, and pivotal decision-makers.
• Propel revenue growth, enhance market share, and increase product portfolio penetration.
• Execute regular business reviews and develop action plans to meet growth targets.
• Recognize market trends, competitive challenges, and new business prospects.
• Enhance market coverage, customer acquisition, and customer retention strategies.
• Design and implement annual account plans with quantifiable growth targets.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities within assigned distributors and strategic accounts.
• Assist distributor sales teams with key opportunities and strategic customer interactions.
• Maintain precise opportunity pipelines, revenue forecasts, and account plans.
• Drive initiatives focused on value-based selling.
• Lead annual business planning processes with assigned distributors and strategic accounts.
• Establish performance metrics and monitor sales and profitability targets.
• Align distributor business strategies with Nilfisk's strategic goals.
• Leverage market intelligence and business analytics to inform decision-making and growth strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources for initiatives aimed at account and distributor growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Care, Technical Service, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Relay customer needs, market intelligence, competitive insights, and growth opportunities throughout the organization.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities across Nilfisk brands and product lines.
• Monitor account performance, profitability, and growth targets.
• Oversee distributor agreements and growth programs in accordance with company policies.
• Utilize Salesforce and business analytics tools to support performance management and business planning.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline is required.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or channel management.
• Proven success in managing national accounts, distribution partners, or strategic customer relationships.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
• Experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, distribution, or similar sectors is preferred.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to effectively influence and collaborate across various functions and organizational levels.
• Robust strategic planning, business development, and account management skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Self-driven with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and business analytics tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States, including overnight travel as necessary.
