This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Serve as the representative of Rockwell Automation’s suite of automation, digital transformation, power monitoring, and industrial software solutions for key data center clients.
• Engage with senior leadership and executive stakeholders to convey the business value related to uptime, capacity utilization, energy efficiency, sustainability, operational excellence, and risk management.
• Build strategic connections with executive sponsors and influential figures within global data center organizations.
• Develop and implement growth strategies aimed at enhancing Rockwell Automation’s market share within customer data center operations worldwide.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities in facility operations, power distribution, cooling systems, infrastructure monitoring, digital transformation, and automation.
• Coordinate resources from Rockwell Automation, including product, industry, technical, geographical sales, and executive teams for strategic clients.
• Participate in planning, design, expansion, and modernization initiatives with customers.
• Recognize growth opportunities related to AI-ready infrastructure, energy management, sustainability, predictive maintenance, cybersecurity, and asset optimization.
• Create and implement annual strategic account plans in collaboration with global teams and customer stakeholders.
• Assist customers in their global expansion efforts through consistent interaction and solution provision across regions.
• Travel as necessary for the development of executive relationships, strategic planning, and major customer initiatives.
• Develop reference architectures, success stories, and case studies that illustrate measurable business outcomes.
• Exemplify executive-level selling techniques and mentor sales team members.
• Report to the Industry Director.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–50%.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in Data Center, Critical Infrastructure, Cloud, Colocation, Mission-Critical Facilities, Energy Management, or Industrial Technology sectors.
• Knowledge of data center operations, including power systems, electrical distribution, cooling infrastructure, building management systems, asset management, resilience, and uptime requirements.
• More than 3 years of strategic account management experience with hyperscale, colocation, cloud, or enterprise data center customers.
• Proven experience in selling automation, software, digital transformation, infrastructure monitoring, energy management, or industrial technology solutions in mission-critical environments.
• Consultative and solution-selling expertise, with the capacity to align customer business drivers with technology investments and operational results.
• Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders responsible for data center operations, facilities, engineering, sustainability, and infrastructure strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, services, software, and customer support divisions.
• Familiarity with emerging trends such as AI data centers, digital twins, sustainability initiatives, industrial cybersecurity, and intelligent infrastructure management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
