This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Implement sales and business development strategies that yield positive business outcomes
• Market indirect auto lending products while recognizing and pursuing cross-sell opportunities that benefit the customer
• Create solutions and provide recommendations aligned with business strategies and stakeholder requirements
• Suggest new products and services that meet customer demands
• Influence and negotiate to fulfill business goals
• Propose and execute solutions based on the analysis of issues and business implications
• Aid in the formulation of strategic plans
• Recognize emerging trends and issues to guide decision-making
• Support strategic initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders
• Engage in projects as a subject matter expert
• Assist in identifying business priorities and the sequencing of business/group strategies
• Cultivate productive relationships with other BMO businesses and dealers
• Align marketing initiatives with business development activities
• Contribute to operational program planning and execution
• Manage risks associated with auto, marine, and recreational financing, documentation, and operational integrity
• Uphold a customer-centric approach and foster profitable relationships with dealers and customers
• Enhance customer service to meet and exceed client expectations
• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving customer experiences
• Monitor and evaluate performance, addressing any issues that arise
• Comply with lending processes, policies, procedures, legal, regulatory, audit, and ethical standards
• Act as a liaison between clients and departments to discuss issues, procedures, and offer product support and expertise
• Develop effective stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment
• Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical assistance
• Independently diagnose and resolve problems, including those that are non-routine
• Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make informed decisions regarding risks in line with business strategies
• Generally, 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Comprehensive understanding of indirect auto lending product offerings, pricing, dealer trends, and the competitive landscape
• Expert knowledge of indirect auto lending regulatory requirements and underwriting standards
• Extensive credit knowledge and expertise
• Familiarity with portfolio management
• Required experience in customer pipeline management
• Strong leadership abilities and a customer service orientation
• Advanced customer service skills
• Solid experience in change management
• Extensive experience in reading and analyzing production reports
• Profound knowledge and technical proficiency acquired through extensive education and business experience
