This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +46 more states.
• Create fundamental account plans and strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
• Evaluate customer data, performance metrics, and service trends to uncover areas for improvement and support account management efforts.
• Establish and nurture working relationships with customers, brokers, and internal business partners.
• Engage in customer meetings and communications to aid account management activities and address client needs.
• Oversee eligibility and enrollment tasks, including site additions, urgent enrollments, digital ID card requests, and member eligibility verification.
• Inspect benefit grids, plan documents, Summary of Benefits and Coverage materials, and other customer-facing documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with renewals through grid review, rate validation, benefit comparisons, documentation assessment, and deliverable coordination.
• Help with billing, commission, and other account-related inquiries and issue resolution.
• Investigate customer, broker, and member issues, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain customer records, activities, service requests, and account updates within Salesforce.
• Support implementation, renewal, and account management projects by tracking tasks, timelines, documentation, and action items.
• Participate in team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and collaborative projects.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in account management, customer service, healthcare operations, benefits administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple requests, priorities, and deadlines.
• Proven attention to detail when reviewing benefit information, customer materials, and plan documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to collaborate with multiple business partners.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively contributing within a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Preferred: Experience with medical carriers, health insurance, employee benefits, or benefits administration.
• Preferred: Background in supporting employer groups, brokers, customers, or members.
• Preferred: Knowledge of eligibility, enrollment, plan documents, or Summary of Benefits and Coverage requests.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management platform.
• Preferred: Experience working with cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.
