This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and enhance strategic client relationships within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences industries.
• Formulate account strategies that promote revenue growth, enhance profitability, ensure retention, and facilitate expansion.
• Establish trusted connections with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders at client organizations.
• Recognize and pursue new opportunities across service lines, markets, and geographical areas.
• Spearhead cross-selling and account expansion initiatives by linking clients to the capabilities of Salas O’Brien.
• Create and sustain strategic account plans, pipelines, forecasts, and growth strategies.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, and project leaders to guarantee a robust and consistent client experience.
• Direct pursuit strategies for significant opportunities, which include positioning, relationship building, teaming, and proposal strategies.
• Maintain close connections to client priorities, capital initiatives, business challenges, and emerging requirements.
• Position Salas O’Brien as a long-term strategic partner instead of merely a project-based service provider.
• Expand strategic accounts, increase Salas O’Brien’s footprint within client organizations, strengthen executive relationships, generate repeat business, and showcase the full capabilities of One Salas O’Brien to clients.
• Extensive experience in strategic account management, client development, business development, engineering, consulting, professional services, or a related field.
• Proven track record of growing large, complex client accounts and nurturing long-term relationships.
• Strong capability to build credibility with executive-level stakeholders and influence key decision-makers.
• Experience in navigating multidisciplinary or matrixed organizations.
• Strong commercial acumen, including account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity development.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Preferably experienced in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO/CMO, or other regulated manufacturing sectors.
• Familiarity with cGMP, process and facility design, CQV, clean utilities, automation and controls, packaging systems, and facility infrastructure is highly advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, industry events, and internal collaboration; travel may average up to 50%.
