This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Take ownership of strategic global or regional accounts and OEM partners throughout all stages of the sales process.
• Market the complete LGC Standards product range.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic accounts, including leadership, laboratory stakeholders, procurement, and other key influencers.
• Foster retention and growth through product awareness, consultation, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with account managers assigned to strategic accounts within the territory.
• Facilitate coordination among account managers, end-market sales managers, quoting specialists, and customer service teams.
• Advocate for LGC Standards products and brands via marketing initiatives and distributor channels.
• Achieve and surpass projected sales targets.
• Create sales proposals for bids.
• Guide and mentor members of the sales team.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of LGC products and their applications.
• Utilize LGC sales tools to oversee prospects, accounts, opportunities, pipelines, and forecasts.
• Organize and participate in exhibitions, seminars, and other events to boost brand visibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in selling technical products utilized in research laboratories.
• Previous successful key account management experience with central procurement is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret RFQs, contracts, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as SalesForce and Desk.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is advantageous.
• Exceptional commercial awareness and strategic planning skills.
• Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Proficient in English is essential; knowledge of Spanish and French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within the designated territory as required.
• Ability to establish trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor.
• Capability to lead complex, high-stakes negotiations and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Skill in orchestrating manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and product teams.
• Ability to foresee and manage demand variability, capacity limitations, and operational risks.
