This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Drive the growth of the account's business, build stakeholder relationships, select products, manage budgeting, influence purchase decisions, and create strategies for cross-selling, upselling, and account expansion.
• Formulate and execute business and marketing plans for targeted accounts.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, training, and R&D teams to integrate strategic account needs into new product development.
• Partner with Product Marketing Management and Marketing Communications teams to create customized sales tools and presentations.
• Position Genetec’s offerings in relation to the needs of high-value end-users.
• Advocate for the SC SaaS product line for assigned and additional accounts.
• Deliver product demonstrations and commercial training to stakeholders within the account.
• Identify customer needs, pinpoint cross-selling and upselling opportunities, assist with RFx submissions, and prepare quotes and proposals.
• Report on account activities, trends, opportunities, and customer satisfaction to the sales management team.
• Develop strategies for account management, coverage, and follow-up with the Commercial Team.
• Oversee forecasts and meet quotas.
• Update and maintain data in CRM and other applications.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of products, markets, and competitors.
• Support sales performance evaluations, including data analysis, goal achievement, and product sales targets, as part of the Genetec Channel Partner Program.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in high-tech sales, with a focus on national/strategic account management.
• Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously and convert broad directives into actionable tactics and meaningful activities.
• Familiarity with large-scale business practices.
• Ability to influence management, key contributors, and various stakeholders to reach growth objectives.
• Proficient in cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building with core stakeholders.
• Solid working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Aptitude for comprehending complex technological systems.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within California.
• Background in the security industry is advantageous.
• Experience in IT and/or IP security industries is beneficial.
