This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Lead the creation of essential account plans by leveraging customer insights, analyzing unmet needs, and utilizing Abbott partnership solutions.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key health-system decision-makers and influencers across executive, clinical, operational, technology, and pharmacy domains.
• Serve as a thought partner to enhance ADC’s reputation as a trusted resource and improve patient outcomes.
• Recognize unmet needs in diabetes management and propose solutions for designated health systems.
• Formulate and execute strategies and tactical plans to boost CGM awareness, enhance HCP access, and promote adoption among diabetic patients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional account teams and headquarters stakeholders to create and implement compliant strategies, plans, and workflow or technical solutions.
• Monitor and assess customer metrics, adjusting account strategies as situations evolve.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ADC products, their indications, and the diabetes disease landscape.
• Drive strategic partnership objectives within assigned health-system accounts.
• Report directly to the Director of Strategic Accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 10 years of experience in customer-facing field sales, sales management, or key account management.
• More than 5 years of experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences sector.
• Proven leadership in strategic influencing, effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and conflict resolution.
• A history of successful account planning, business planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Executive presence with the capacity to engage with senior account leadership.
• Ability to create customer-focused approaches utilizing multidisciplinary capabilities and resources.
• Competence in managing multiple concurrent work streams across various functions.
• Confidence, persuasive communication skills, capability to motivate others, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight trips, 50%-75% of the time.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience managing national or regional health-system accounts is preferred.
• Knowledge of the diabetes disease area and experience in promoting related products is preferred.
