
Strategic Account Executive β Manufacturer Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Formulate a strategy for manufacturer partnerships and pinpoint target manufacturers, product categories, decision-makers, offers, and pricing.
β’ Engage in market discussions during the initial 90 days and document the insights gathered.
β’ Create commercial models for manufacturer partnerships that include market intelligence, takeoff capacity, business generation, or innovative models.
β’ Assess partnership models in relation to manufacturers' budgeting, purchasing, and procurement protocols.
β’ Leverage existing manufacturer relationships to initiate dialogue.
β’ Manage the entire sales process from the first meeting through to procurement, legal review, and contract signing.
β’ Cultivate relationships with decision-makers regarding partnerships at manufacturers.
β’ Provide guidance to the product team on the integrations, data, and capabilities necessary for successful manufacturer partnerships.
β’ Investigate the methods manufacturers use for takeoffs and the related costs.
β’ Incorporate insights from manufacturer discussions into product decision-making.
β’ Established, current relationships with US manufacturers in the commercial HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing sectors.
β’ Extensive experience across multiple manufacturers and various product or equipment categories.
β’ Familiarity with manufacturers' purchasing and procurement practices, budget authority, and vendor/partner approval processes.
β’ Proven experience in selling, structuring, or pricing offerings without relying on a rate card.
β’ Autonomous approach to developing, testing, and refining market strategies.
β’ A solid history of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals where the buyer had to be persuaded of the value of the category.
β’ Comfort in early-stage business environments.
β’ Outstanding communication skills with operators and executives in the trades.
β’ Strong advantage: experience in construction data or project-intelligence sectors.
β’ Strong advantage: knowledge of how manufacturers utilize project and specification data.
β’ Strong advantage: experience in building a partnership, channel, or data-licensing program from the ground up.
β’ Strong advantage: experience collaborating closely with product teams to transform customer dialogues into product strategies.
