This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Achieve set revenue targets for the ImmunoDiagnostics Division's allergy and autoimmune products within a specific geographic area.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with Laboratories and Health Systems.
• Nurture and expand existing laboratory accounts.
• Ensure effective laboratory logistics are established in targeted markets to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Thermo Fisher Scientific divisions, particularly Fisher Healthcare, to maximize the overall Thermo Fisher Scientific experience.
• Articulate and sell the value proposition at the C-Suite level while ensuring comprehensive account satisfaction and engagement.
• Comprehend the dynamics of healthcare delivery, including healthcare systems, hospitals, laboratory providers, payers, key influencers, and medical thought leaders.
• Safeguard the existing customer base through effective account management and expand the Autoimmune business.
• Align organizational and customer financial objectives to promote capital equipment sales and secure long-term contracts and relationships.
• Work in partnership with Marketing, Operations, Market Development, and District Managers regarding instrument placements and clinical adoption.
• Capture autoimmune market share through competitive conversion strategies using purchase, lease, and placement options.
• Act as IDD’s instrument specialist and collaborate with the Regional Manager to place instruments that support sustained growth before, during, and after installation.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sciences, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant commercial diagnostic sales experience, or related, collaborating with senior-level stakeholders.
• At least 2 years of successful experience in capital diagnostic or medical device sales.
• 1 to 3 years of proven success as a Regional Account Manager (or equivalent role).
• A successful history of sales at the C-Suite level is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or similar hands-on laboratory experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to foster strong customer relationships and translate customer business objectives and challenges into effective company solutions and services.
• Strong skills in leadership, strategic selling, negotiation, presentation, and financial/business acumen.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Willingness to travel about 50% of the time, primarily within the designated area and across the U.S.
• Proficiency in cultivating, leveraging, and developing lasting customer relationships, including those at the C-level and Senior VP-level.
• Ability to identify and seize opportunities that fulfill customer needs.
• Maintain a strategic focus on lifecycle costs for Phadia Lab system equipment.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal functions to address and manage customer needs.
