Strategic Account Executive

📋 Description

• Act as the primary executive liaison for national clients, fostering relationships with VP-level and C-suite decision-makers.

• Create long-term strategic account plans customized to meet client needs and align with industry trends.

• Facilitate high-level client meetings focused on performance metrics, strategic opportunities, and healthcare initiatives.

• Oversee contract renewals and identify upsell/cross-selling opportunities.

• Collaborate with product teams to introduce new offerings and enhance client value.

• Lead consultative, data-driven negotiations for renewals.

• Direct account management, clinical, and operational teams to fulfill service commitments.

• Represent clients internally while ensuring compliance with operational standards and risk management.

• Track delivery metrics, resolve intricate service issues, and pinpoint areas for process enhancements.

• Stay informed about healthcare policies, benefit trends, and market dynamics impacting large and jumbo employers.

• Provide guidance to clients on emerging healthcare trends, strategies for cost containment, and boosting employee engagement.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• Obtain Arkansas Life and Disability Insurance License within three (3) months of hire.

• Professional certifications from AHIP such as PAHM, FAHM, CHC, or CLU.

• At least 10 years of experience in consulting, sales, or account management within the national account market.

• Strong executive-level communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Capacity for strategic thinking and long-term planning.

• Solid financial and business acumen.

• Ability to influence collaboratively across various departments.

• Proficiency in English communication skills.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

• Expertise in negotiation, presentation, research, relationship-based sales, and strategic counseling.

• Commitment to adhering to security, confidentiality, and segregation-of-duties requirements.
