This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Strengthen and enhance Alight’s relationships with current clients
• Act as a trusted advisor to CHROs and senior leaders within client organizations
• Present with confidence and establish relationships at the executive level
• Comprehend delivery intricacies and assist teams with escalations, quality challenges (E&Os), and negotiations regarding change orders
• Expand networking within client organizations and identify issues related to Alight’s offerings
• Spearhead renewal and retention initiatives, encompassing preparation, presentation, and negotiation
• Cross-sell and grow business within established accounts
• Work in tandem with internal teams to tackle client challenges and coordinate resources
• Provide ROI/VOI-focused solutions
• Customize deal strategies and create tailored client solutions
• Conduct regular reviews of client performance, communicate results, address concerns, and pinpoint growth opportunities
• Over 5 years of demonstrated success in account management, client success, or strategic sales in HR, consulting, brokerage, healthcare, or similar sectors
• Proven experience managing mid-to-large employer accounts (5,000+ employees)
• Professional demeanor with exceptional executive communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities
• In-depth knowledge of Alight’s solutions and delivery mechanisms, with the capability to navigate client-specific details
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to devise innovative, client-specific strategies
• Growth-oriented mindset with a proven ability to identify and secure expansion opportunities
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to fostering long-term client partnerships and retention
• Outstanding organizational, administrative, and interpersonal abilities
• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
• Proven track record of meeting objectives and managing a diverse portfolio of accounts
• Proficient in facilitating strategic planning conversations
• Excellent listening, inquiry, and communication skills
• Travel requirement of 25–50%, occasionally on short notice
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
• Successful completion of a background check
