Strategic Account Director, FinServ Vertical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead revenue growth through expansion initiatives within the current customer base, particularly in the financial services sector.

• Discover and secure upsell and cross-sell prospects.

• Enhance customer relationships and provide customized solutions that meet their specific requirements.

• Actively seek out additional product and service opportunities.

• Sustain ongoing connections with key stakeholders to build trust and ensure long-term retention.

• Develop strategic account plans for both expansion and renewal opportunities.

• Work in collaboration with product, marketing, and customer success teams to create tailored solutions and expansion initiatives.

• Keep track of account performance and the expansion pipeline.

• Provide reports on sales forecasts, revenue objectives, and account health metrics.

• Lead contract discussions for upsell and cross-sell initiatives.

• Address and resolve issues promptly to uphold client satisfaction and reduce churn.

• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor actions, and market developments.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a comparable field of experience.

• In-depth knowledge of the IT Security landscape and emerging trends.

• Proficiency in risk management and security compliance frameworks.

• Familiarity with advanced technologies and their impact on the IT Security industry.

• Capability to create and implement high-level strategic plans that drive growth.

• Expertise in the IT Security sector, focusing on market trends and dynamics.

• Experience in sales targeting technology companies primarily located on the West Coast.

• Strong skills in indirect leadership.

• Ability to represent the company positively and embody behaviors aligned with core values.

• Capacity to lead and mentor teams effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
