Store Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Implement product placement strategies throughout retail outlets

• Organize merchandise and uphold shelf visibility and display space for Smithfield and Private Label products

• Adhere to route schedules, flavor schematics, and safety protocols

• Offer merchandising and retail assistance across all accounts

• Carry out deli store setups and collaborate with warehouses for product placement

• Maintain Point-of-Sale materials

• Support promotional initiatives and advertising campaigns

• Organize product demonstrations and training sessions

• Build relationships at store, wholesale, and manufacturing levels

• Leverage market data, rankings, and sales trends to enhance placement and retail support

• Assist with new product launches and drive sales growth

• Provide outstanding customer service and work collaboratively across functions

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and over 4 years of relevant experience is mandatory

• Bachelor's degree is preferred

• Experience with spreadsheet, word processing, and sales software applications

• Strong abilities in planning, organization, execution, and problem-solving

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Effective customer service and teamwork skills in fast-paced, dynamic settings

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Willingness to travel 100% of the time

• Previous relevant retail grocery experience is preferred

• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours daily

• Frequently lift, carry, and move products or boxes weighing 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.

• Regularly bend, stoop, squat, and kneel

• Occasionally climb ladders or step stools

• Ability to push and pull carts loaded with merchandise

• Capacity to work in refrigerated areas, outdoor environments, and busy retail floors
