This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Drive the sales of storage products and solutions within designated territory, industry, or accounts.
• Serve as the primary expert on storage solutions for HPE products and related offerings.
• Generate and manage the storage sales pipeline while effectively following up on leads.
• Discover new business and solution opportunities in both acquisition and development accounts.
• Collaborate with account pursuit teams, account managers, Presales, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
• Enhance sales readiness through the transfer of storage knowledge.
• Maintain the integrity of the pipeline, account plans, and internal sales tools.
• Evaluate technical and business feasibility to qualify opportunities.
• Negotiate and drive profitable deals to successful closure.
• Build consultative relationships with mid-to-large-account clients, including C-level stakeholders.
• Position HPE products and services by leveraging knowledge of competitors and the industry.
• Develop channel relationships, empower partners, and co-sell to end users.
• Lead and coordinate marketing campaigns related to storage.
• Provide guidance to customers and partners regarding HPE storage strategy and portfolio.
• Demonstrate the ROI and TCO benefits of HPE offerings.
• Foster customer relationships to ensure account retention and growth.
• Assist in deal closure with internal stakeholders and channel partners.
• Organize regional pursuit resources and coordinate with external partners.
• May undertake project management responsibilities.
• Over 6 years of sales experience.
• More than 5 years of experience in sales to the Federal Government.
• At least 2 years of experience in storage sales.
• Proven track record of achieving progressively higher sales quotas.
• Experience engaging with diverse business customers at all levels.
• Extensive knowledge of various vertical industries.
• A university or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in storage, cloud, solution, or service offerings, along with competitor insights.
• Awareness of industry trends, partner/ISV solutions, and both traditional and emerging vendors.
• Familiarity with end-to-end data solutions and the HPE storage portfolio.
• Understanding of service providers' business models.
• Advanced financial acumen.
• Knowledge of IT applications, maintenance, budgets, objectives, measures, and metrics.
• Comprehension and application of program/project management methods and processes.
• Ability to engage and align partners with storage-related opportunities.
• Must be capable of working with Federal Government accounts in Colorado, Alabama, or Virginia.
