STEM Teacher – Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct 25-minute, individual online English sessions for children aged 5–12.

• Implement engaging lessons based on Nao Now's structured curriculum.

• Integrate age-appropriate STEM topics and real-world examples into class discussions as relevant.

• Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and confident communication in English.

• Establish a fun, supportive, and interactive learning atmosphere.

• Offer constructive feedback on lessons after each session.

• Maintain a professional, energetic, and encouraging presence on camera.

• Adhere to a consistent weekly teaching schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native English speaker.

• A bachelor's degree or proof of current enrollment in a bachelor's program is required.

• An academic background in one or more of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, STEM/STEAM Education, or other related STEM fields.

• Experience in working with children aged 5–12.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• A friendly, engaging, and energetic teaching approach.

• A reliable wired internet connection with a minimum speed of 60 Mbps.

• A quiet, professional teaching environment.

• Headset with noise-cancelling features is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 teaching hours per week is required.

• Availability from Monday to Friday, between 5:30 PM and 10:00 PM KST.

• A minimum commitment of 3 months is necessary.

• Consistent weekly availability is essential.

• A computer that is less than five years old is recommended.

• A professional, distraction-free workspace is required.
