This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead cross-functional development initiatives from concept through to delivery across various organizational teams.
• Enhance the software delivery lifecycle while overseeing software deliverables.
• Align and engage Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Product, and Finance stakeholders on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Anticipate technical risks, identify dependencies, resolve ambiguities, and eliminate obstacles.
• Provide data-driven updates to senior leadership regarding program health, milestones, risks, and change control.
• Design and optimize organizational mechanisms to boost delivery velocity and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance availability guardrails, including SLAs and SLOs.
• Facilitate post-incident root-cause analyses to maximize uptime and minimize MTTR.
• Establish automated monitoring for cloud spending and drive initiatives to reduce infrastructure costs.
• Mentor and nurture talent within the program management function.
• Translate business requirements into architectural decisions.
• 7+ years of technical program management experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure, reliability, or platform engineering at scale.
• Proven experience managing large, multi-team software programs across globally distributed organizations and varying time zones.
• Strong technical foundation in back-end architectural systems and scaling platform ecosystems.
• Experience leading technical discussions and contributing to design decisions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suited for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence teams without direct authority, manage competing priorities, and navigate through ambiguity.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Site Reliability Engineer, or DevOps Engineer is preferred.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, global telemetry/monitoring tools, and distributed database scaling is preferred.
• Experience in driving large-scale migrations and decoupling monolithic backend databases and codebases is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI technologies or automated tooling in engineering workflows is preferred.
• Strong product acumen for advocating platform infrastructure initiatives and translating technical achievements into business value.
• Must reside and work remotely from Canada.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Competitive base salary ranging from CA$125K to CA$172K.
