
Staff Product Operations Manager – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Drive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by identifying gaps in enterprise readiness that hinder new business, expansion, and retention.
• Collaborate with Billing, Org & Auth, and Security product teams to establish priorities, eliminate obstacles, and monitor delivery commitments.
• Develop and launch internal data and AI products tailored for Product and Engineering teams.
• Examine product telemetry, support tickets, customer discussions, feature requests, surveys, and product metadata.
• Transform analyses into dependable, repeatable tools and workflows, complete with data definitions, quality checks, documentation, and feedback loops.
• Interpret complex findings into actionable recommendations for R&D leadership.
• Measure and report the revenue impact of platform investments.
• Manage projects from inception and data connection to launch, measuring adoption, impact, and subsequent iterations.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools, validate outputs, troubleshoot failures, and exercise sound judgment.
• Advocate for and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles throughout the organization.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in product operations, data or product analytics, business operations, consulting, technical product management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering valuable products for real users, such as internal tools, applications, dashboards, automation, data products, or repeatable analytical workflows.
• History of linking work to revenue or equivalent business outcomes, such as ARR, retention, expansion, or cost savings.
• Experience in structuring and analyzing complex or extensive datasets, validating findings, and communicating analytical limitations.
• Strong judgment regarding product and customer needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical or analytical information to non-technical partners and executives.
• High levels of ownership, curiosity, attention to detail, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Must reside in the United States or Canada.
• Relocation assistance is not available.
• Preferred: experience in a B2B technology company or working closely with Product and Engineering teams.
• Preferred: experience in Product Operations roles, including defining and tracking product roadmaps and feature requests, as well as incorporating customer feedback into product discussions.
• Preferred: familiarity with enterprise platform domains such as billing and monetization, identity, access and organization management, security, or compliance.
