Staff Product Manager, RevOps & Finance Systems

Posted Jul 25

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Establish, oversee, and manage the multi-quarter internal product roadmap for QTC and Finance Systems, which includes Salesforce CPQ, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, NetSuite, and the CDot metering platform.

• Convert business strategies from Finance, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and Sales into a sequenced and prioritized set of system capabilities with defined outcomes and success metrics.

• Balance various program demands—such as stabilization, the delivery of new capabilities, and the reduction of technical debt—using transparent trade-off frameworks.

• Lead quarterly and annual planning ceremonies in collaboration with Engineering Managers and Business Systems Analysts to align capacity with roadmap commitments.

• Act as the primary internal product representative for all QTC and Finance Systems initiatives, collaborating closely with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and Legal.

• Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and business process design meetings to convert complex financial and commercial needs into actionable system specifications.

• Manage the decision-making process between 'what the business requires' and 'what engineering develops,' clarifying ambiguities through structured frameworks and documented resolutions.

• Navigate the dynamics of cross-functional stakeholders, including SOX compliance, audit controls, and revenue recognition governance (ASC 606/IFRS 15).

• Serve as a product craft mentor and senior thought partner for the BSA team, enhancing analysts’ skills in product thinking, requirements structuring, acceptance criteria definition, and roadmap communication.

• Demonstrate and promote product management best practices—such as user story writing, prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW), sprint review discipline, and outcome monitoring—across the team.

• Collaborate with leadership to transition the team’s operating model from a project-execution focus to a product-thinking approach, elevating the standards for how ETA delivers business value.

• Offer structured feedback and career growth coaching to BSAs, supporting their development towards senior and lead roles.

• Drive product strategy for significant multi-quarter programs (e.g., consumption-based billing iterations, CLM/Order Forms, Zuora Product Catalog refactors, ERP optimization) from inception through to launch.

• Define and maintain program-level dependency maps across multiple concurrent workstreams, identifying risks early and facilitating cross-team resolutions.

• Take ownership of UAT strategy and acceptance criteria in partnership with BSAs, ensuring that system changes fulfill business requirements prior to production release.

• Assist with post-launch stabilization and ongoing improvement cycles, prioritizing defect resolution and incremental enhancements based on business impact.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Engineering Managers to assess build-vs-buy-vs-configure decisions for new capabilities.

• Provide informed perspectives on QTC platform architecture trade-offs (e.g., billing model design, middleware integration patterns, revenue recognition rule configuration) based on extensive domain knowledge.

• Keep updated on the roadmaps for Salesforce, Zuora, and NetSuite, identifying opportunities to utilize native capabilities before resorting to custom builds.

ā›³ļø Requirements

• Over 8 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in an internal platform PM, enterprise applications PM, or systems product leadership position.

• In-depth domain expertise in Quote-to-Cash systems: Salesforce CPQ, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, and NetSuite ERP are essential—hands-on configuration or implementation experience is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to own and effectively communicate multi-quarter internal product roadmaps to senior business and technology stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of revenue lifecycle processes: opportunity-to-quote, order management, billing and collections, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and financial close.

• Experience working in a SOX-controlled environment with knowledge of audit trails, approval workflows, and change management requirements for financial systems.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-program delivery environments with competing priorities and shared engineering resources.

• Adequate technical fluency to engage meaningfully with engineering on API design, data model decisions, and integration trade-offs—without the need to write code.

• Experience with consumption-based or usage-based billing models.

šŸļø Benefits

• Comprehensive benefits to support your health, finances, and overall well-being.

• Flexible Paid Time Off.

• Team Member Resource Groups.

• Equity Compensation & Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

• Growth and Development Fund.

• Parental Leave.
