Staff Product Manager, Purple AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and advocate for the strategy and vision of Purple AI, SentinelOne's GenAI security analyst, along with new AI functionalities.

• Take full ownership of the product lifecycle from conception through to launch and subsequent iterations.

• Combine product metrics, user insights, and market analysis to inform the product roadmap.

• Make informed decisions in the presence of incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous data while managing risks and aligning cross-functional teams.

• Enhance both online and offline evaluation metrics associated with customer-perceived quality and value.

• Lead the data-sourcing strategy to enhance model and pipeline performance.

• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and documentation teams to develop product narratives that promote the adoption of AI products.

• Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, pricing strategy, and executive leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise product management; experience in cybersecurity products is preferred.

• More than 5 years of experience in building AI/ML products.

• At least 3 years of experience in launching 0-to-1 enterprise software products.

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A solid technical understanding of AI/ML technologies, including generative and agentic AI, natural language processing (NLP), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Outstanding ability to navigate ambiguity, assess trade-offs, and make decisions that balance technical complexity, user experience, and business value.

• An ownership mentality demonstrated by accountability, persistence, and a results-oriented mindset.

• Clear, effective, and persuasive communication skills—both written and verbal—across various audiences from engineers to executives.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools to streamline the entire PM workflow, enhancing both the speed and quality of decision-making.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% to customer and SentinelOne locations globally.

• U.S. work authorization and participation in E-Verify for roles based in the U.S.
