Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform market analysis on legislative, regulatory, competitive, and economic trends, along with emerging market drivers.

• Become the expert in the specific product area.

• Offer advice to clients and internal teams.

• Engage with customers through co-design workshops, user groups, and meetings.

• Gather customer insights and refine requirements.

• Identify customer business needs and goals.

• Develop requirements, user stories, and wireframes for new projects.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to implement solutions that meet customer expectations.

• Work alongside Technical Authors to create and review product documentation.

• Construct business cases that include market uptake, pricing, and margin analysis.

• Identify and oversee third-party requirements with suppliers and integrators.

• Establish and update product roadmaps.

• Assist Pre-Sales and Sales teams with bid responses, proposals, and quotations.

• Present to both internal and external audiences.

• Participate in product launch initiatives.

• Influence NEC Housing products and steer customers towards best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in UK Social Housing, either as a customer or as a provider of software solutions.

• Strong understanding of project life cycles, methodologies, and the delivery of projects on schedule and within budget.

• Proven experience in defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile new product development.

• Familiarity with housing management systems or similar software.

• Background in working with Housing system modules such as Rents, Service Charges, Allocations, or Mobile alternatives.

• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.

• Possession of a full, valid UK/EC driving license for travel purposes.

• Demonstrated capacity to build relationships and comprehend client viewpoints.

• Effective time management and resource allocation skills.

• Strong decision-making capabilities.

• Experience managing the complete product life cycle.

• Background in designing digital solutions for the social housing sector, including mobile applications and web platforms.

• Proficiency in tools such as Figma and JIRA.

• Working knowledge of NEC Housing.

• Candidates must be able to provide evidence of a right to work and travel within the UK.

• Documentary proof of right to work may be requested.
