Staff Product Manager, Enterprise Deployment Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Grafana Bring Your Own Cloud and Grafana Federal Cloud.

• Weigh customer value against engineering costs and technical limitations utilizing product data and market analysis.

• Take ownership of positioning, messaging, and distinguishing features for the products.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing on launches, competitive analysis, enablement, and demand programs.

• Work alongside Engineering and Technical Program Management for the development of these environments.

• Engage directly with customers, prospects, and the field on strategic deals.

• Provide briefings to partners, resellers, and analysts regarding deployment options.

• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Legal on product modifications that impact authorization or customer commitments.

• Utilize AI tools daily to expedite research, analyze product signals, and refine positioning.

• Influence future deployment models offered by Grafana Labs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience with a technical B2B product, or a technical background coupled with a proven transition into product ownership.

• Practical experience with a non-standard SaaS deployment model, including self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or FedRAMP/government cloud.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools.

• Strong judgment in product and go-to-market strategies.

• Interest in engaging with US public sector customers and understanding their needs and purchasing cycles.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in a remote, globally distributed environment.

• Bonus: background in selling to or developing for US federal, state, or local government customers or other highly regulated sectors.

• Bonus: knowledge of FedRAMP, StateRAMP/GovRAMP, BSI C5, SecNumCloud, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, AWS European Sovereign Cloud, or GCP Sovereign Cloud.

• Bonus: experience with pricing and packaging across various deployment models.

• Bonus: familiarity with observability, monitoring, data-intensive infrastructure products, resellers, systems integrators, cloud marketplace partners, open source software, or commercial open source firms.
