Staff Product Manager – Consolidation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Establish the product vision and strategy aimed at attracting and serving high-net-worth clients.

• Take ownership of the roadmap for Wealthsimple's growth strategy in the upmarket segment.

• Lead the planning, development, launch, and refinement of an enhanced Tiers program.

• Create tailored in-product experiences that motivate clients to consolidate their financial affairs with Wealthsimple.

• Oversee the funding and consolidation process from the initial session to a fully consolidated relationship.

• Develop incentives, onboarding pathways, and product experiences.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and data scientists.

• Work in partnership with Product, Marketing, Operations, Client Experience, Legal, Compliance, and other departments.

• Manage a significant product area and impact wider initiatives.

• Enhance the Product Management practice and promote an inclusive, supportive team culture.

• Proven experience in delivering products across customer-facing and platform initiatives.

• Experience in taking ownership of a product or major product segment.

• Capability to lead intricate, cross-functional projects.

• A focus on shipping, learning, and iterating.

• Technical proficiency to engage in discussions about architecture and trade-offs with engineers.

• A commitment to financial inclusion.

• Systems-thinking skills to simplify complex use cases into straightforward solutions.

• Ability to collaborate with engineering on technical architecture.

• Competence in analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data.

• Strong, systematic problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to construct business cases and outline workflows.

• Negotiation skills for details with vendors or regulators.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Collaborative and empathetic leadership style.

• Experience in building, launching, iterating, and scaling products from inception to maturity over multiple years is an advantage.
