This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead the implementation, upgrade, or customization of PeopleSoft software, whether OnPrem or in the Cloud.
• Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, HR technology, various business teams, consultants, vendors, and external clients.
• Oversee multiple workstreams and simultaneous projects from the planning and initiation phases through execution and completion.
• Define, manage, coordinate, and prioritize project tasks and timelines effectively.
• Provide consistent status updates and communications to project sponsors, senior management, PMOs, and steering committees.
• Supervise project schedules, plans, benchmark metrics, management information, communications, documentation, memos, and dissemination of stakeholder information.
• Offer functional direction and oversight to teams engaged in implementation strategies, transformations, and policy development.
• Manage staff performance while offering guidance, support, structure, and direction.
• Make definitive decisions regarding project scope and changes while balancing associated risks.
• Oversee support and change-control frameworks for infrastructure and application integration initiatives.
• Coordinate project dependencies and organize, convene, and document internal project meetings and cross-workstream discussions.
• Set deadlines and ensure that projects remain on schedule.
• Ensure that implementations fulfill contractual obligations and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Manage project scope, changes, impact estimates, timelines, costs, and resources effectively.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, automation, and the adoption of RPA and ML/AI technologies.
• Identify team strengths and areas for improvement through feedback, coaching, and recognition.
• Resolve conflicts and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.
• Cultivate the next generation of talent for career advancement within the organization.
• Assist in planning and managing global technological changes to address complex operational needs.
• Nearly 20 years of experience with the PeopleSoft application, spanning implementation to upgrades, including operational usage.
• Experience in global PeopleSoft implementations across EMEA, AsiaPac, Americas, and LATAM regions.
• In-depth understanding of accounting, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory regulations, and PeopleSoft functional applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with executive-level internal and external stakeholders.
• Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing and managing diverse business needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
